What does 'no long-term contract' actually mean?

It means exactly what it says. The retainer rolls month-by-month — you can up-size, down-size, pause or end with thirty days' notice. No annual lock-in, no minimum term, no penalty fees. The relationship lasts as long as it's earning its place.

How do I know how many hours I need?

Most founders start at the £275/mo level and adjust after the first month. We track time honestly each week, send you a weekly summary, and have a proper conversation at the end of month one about whether to size up, hold, or scale back. The Audit (if you take it) gives us both a sharper starting estimate.

Can I really up- or down-size whenever?

Yes — with thirty days' notice, in either direction. Big launch month coming up? Add hours. Going on a six-week sabbatical? Pause. Quieter quarter? Drop a tier. We'd rather have a rolling, honest retainer than one you resent paying for.

Who actually does the work?

A named VA from our team, matched to your business, supported by Gemma and the wider team for cover and quality control. You're not playing telephone with a different person each week — you have one human who learns your voice and your business.

Is my data and inbox secure?

Yes. We're UK-based, fully insured (PolicyBee), GDPR-compliant, and we use named password managers and shared-vault tools — never sticky-note logins. Every team member signs an NDA and a confidentiality agreement before they touch your accounts.

What's the difference between this and the Operations Audit?

The Audit (£395) is a one-off deep-dive that diagnoses what's broken and gives you an action plan — useful even if you never take a retainer. The retainer is the ongoing 'and now we actually do it' part. Most clients do the Audit first; the £395 is then credited to your first retainer month.

Do you sign NDAs?

Always — both ways. Standard confidentiality runs through every retainer agreement, and we're happy to sign your NDA on top of ours if that's how your business operates.

What if it's not working?

Tell us. We'll have an honest conversation, fix what we can, or part ways with thirty days' notice. We'd rather end a retainer cleanly than drag a relationship that's not earning its place.
